WE ARE IN A WORLD WHERE...
The universe of video games is largely based on fictional worlds dominated by a quest for conquest that are won at the cost of violence, unbridled aggression, confrontation and with warlike images and colors that are often gray and deadly.

The games that have dominated the world for ages are aimed at the darker side of humanity in search of power and domination and participate in the expression - if not the awakening - of an aggressiveness that often may feel good at the time, but that nevertheless appeals to the most vile side of the human condition.
​
As if in order to play video games, it were necessary to reject life in favor of death, to oppose liberation to domination, as if the strength of the most powerful in search of power has to be set against the existential, but no less essential, dreams of the defenceless.
​
As never before, our world needs the return of Chaplin with his endearing allure and mischievous antics:

to re-inspire a world that is continuously in search of more humanity and justice,

to return a smile to a world locked in fear,

to make fun of those who ignore the less fortunate,

to denounce, always with a smile and an impudent look, the powers that divide more than unite,

to touch, seduce and evoke the simplest to the most romantic sentiments in opposition to a world of war, violence and disease,

to finally, counterbalance with smiles, tears and determination, the horror of a world that the children of the new millenium want to “thumb their noses” at!

WE STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE
There is a different way of imagining the struggles inherent in the thousand quests for a beautiful life, for justice and solidarity to which almost all humans aspire. Charlie Chaplin sums up this perspective with the following premise:

Chaplin paints the human condition at its most unjust. War, poverty, the quest for a new dream world, the dignity of work… all part of a body of work that makes millions of fans and audiences around the world recognize themselves in this icon and value him so much.

Our "B D'frent" vision, inspired by Chaplin's cinematography, leads us to imagine games that are both fun and bring out the best in human nature and is inspired by the leitmotiv of Charlie Chaplin's life and work.

Our games will stand out with an approach and scenarios marked by humanism, pacifism and universalism on the very scale of the iconic The Little Tramp and his court of amusing characters.

In the development of the games we imagine, the players of the world become accomplices and companions of the wandering icon, taking immense pleasure in plunging into the psyche of a FUNNY, MARGINAL and IRREVERENT character – THE LITTLE TRAMP – whom we accompany in order to overcome the thousand adversities of a world where the dreams of the average person will take precedence over the whims and oppressions of the powerful.

These many adventures for dignity are supported by the wandering actions of a UNIVERSAL, UNIQUE and INIMITABLE ICON, with a fluidity and skill highlighting a thousand dodges, pirouettes, irreverent and ever fun subterfuges, of which only the Tramp has the secret.
​
The Tramp is a hero who uses intelligence and cunning to overcome repressive authorities' mindless repression. Instead of violence, the Tramp prefers to bypass and annoy, to show himself irreverent or a tad rebellious, with a rose in his mouth and a well-sent nose-thumbing. His cannon is a cane, his cane does not shoot bullets but flowers, his war helmet is a bowler hat shaped like a melon, his grenade is a pie.
